CN Resource Awarded Kentucky Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Contract

CN Resource is happy to announce that it has been awarded a contract with the Kentucky Department of Education to support the state’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
The contract is effective October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, with the opportunity for two additional two-year renewal periods.
Kentucky’s SFSP serves children during the summer months through a network of schools, nonprofit organizations, camps, and other community organizations. The state’s program includes approximately 80 sponsors and 120 sites statewide.
“We look forward to bringing our team’s experience to Kentucky and to supporting the Department of Education in its work with the Summer Food Service Program,” said Lindsay Healy, President of CN Resource. “KDE is known for having one of the best run SFSP operations in the country. It is a privilege for CNR to bring our extensive experience in child nutrition program reviews to support Kentucky’s sponsors, sites, and state agency,” she continues.
Through this contract, CN Resource will support the Kentucky Department of Education with SFSP oversight and programmatic reviews across the state. The work will include sponsor and site reviews, technical assistance, and guidance to help support program compliance and effective program operations. The CN Resource team looks forward to working alongside the Kentucky Department of Education to support strong SFSP oversight and help programs successfully serve children throughout the state.
