CN Resource Awarded Kentucky Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Contract

CN Resource is happy to announce that it has been awarded a contract with the Kentucky Department of Education to support the state’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The contract is effective October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, with the opportunity for two additional two-year renewal periods. Kentucky’s SFSP serves children during the summer months through a network of schools, nonprofit organizations, camps, and other community organizations. The state’s program includes approximately 80 sponsors and 120 sites statewide. Through this contract, CN Resource will support the Kentucky Department of Education with SFSP oversight and programmatic reviews across the state. The work will include sponsor and site reviews, technical assistance, and guidance to help support program compliance and effective program operations. The CN Resource team looks forward to working alongside the Kentucky Department of Education to support strong SFSP oversight and help programs successfully serve children throughout the state.

CN Resource Awarded New Jersey CACFP Review Contract

CN Resource is excited to announce a new one-year contract with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture to conduct Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) reviews across the state. The contract award brings CN Resource back to New Jersey, where our team previously supported the state during the 2020–2021 program year. We’re excited to build on that experience and once again work alongside the state to support the important work of New Jersey’s CACFP program.

CN Resource Awarded Contract with Michigan Department of Education

CN Resource is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract with the Michigan Department of Education to provide NSLP and SFSP reviews for the 2026-2027 school year. The contract began in June and extends through May 2027, with the opportunity for renewal in subsequent years. CN Resource looks forward to this engagement serving as the foundation for a lasting, multi-year relationship with the Michigan Department of Education, and is committed to the consistent, high-quality service that will support continued collaboration well beyond the initial contract term. The Michigan Department of Education plays a vital role in supporting schools and community organizations that provide nutritious meals to children year-round. CN Resource is honored to support that mission by delivering professional, objective reviews backed by decades of experience in child nutrition programs. As part of this agreement, CN Resource will support the Michigan Department of Education’s oversight of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) by conducting onsite reviews statewide. Beyond ensuring compliance with USDA regulations, CNR will provide technical assistance and guidance to help strengthen program performance and maintain compliance.

CN Resource Awarded Alaska Meals-to-You Program Evaluation Contract

CN Resource (CNR) is proud to announce the award of a contract with the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (DEED) to serve as the independent evaluator for the Alaska Meals-to-You program. The contract runs through December 31, 2026. Meals-to-You is an innovative non-congregate summer meals model originally piloted nationally by the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty from 2019 to 2023. Alaska DEED, in partnership with the Food Bank of Alaska, now operates the program under the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), delivering weekly boxes of shelf-stable, nutritious meals directly to children in rural communities via the United States Postal Service. The program serves families across 39 eligible school districts, addressing the significant food access challenges that exist in Alaska’s remote regions when school is not in session.

CN Resource Awarded Alaska DEED Contract for Statewide Child Nutrition Program Administrative Reviews

CN Resource (CNR) is proud to announce that it has been selected by the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED), Division of Child Nutrition Programs, to conduct Administrative and Program Reviews (ARs) for federally funded child nutrition programs administered by sponsors across the state. The award follows a competitive Request for Proposals process in which CNR was identified as the highest-scoring offeror.
