CN Resource is excited to announce a new one-year contract with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture to conduct Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) reviews across the state. The contract award brings CN Resource back to New Jersey, where our team previously supported the state during the 2020–2021 program year. We’re excited to build on that experience and once again work alongside the state to support the important work of New Jersey’s CACFP program.
CN Resource is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract with the Michigan Department of Education to provide NSLP and SFSP reviews for the 2026-2027 school year. The contract began in June and extends through May 2027, with the opportunity for renewal in subsequent years. CN Resource looks forward to this engagement serving as the foundation for a lasting, multi-year relationship with the Michigan Department of Education, and is committed to the consistent, high-quality service that will support continued collaboration well beyond the initial contract term. The Michigan Department of Education plays a vital role in supporting schools and community organizations that provide nutritious meals to children year-round. CN Resource is honored to support that mission by delivering professional, objective reviews backed by decades of experience in child nutrition programs. As part of this agreement, CN Resource will support the Michigan Department of Education’s oversight of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) by conducting onsite reviews statewide. Beyond ensuring compliance with USDA regulations, CNR will provide technical assistance and guidance to help strengthen program performance and maintain compliance.
CN Resource (CNR) is proud to announce the award of a contract with the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (DEED) to serve as the independent evaluator for the Alaska Meals-to-You program. The contract runs through December 31, 2026. Meals-to-You is an innovative non-congregate summer meals model originally piloted nationally by the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty from 2019 to 2023. Alaska DEED, in partnership with the Food Bank of Alaska, now operates the program under the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), delivering weekly boxes of shelf-stable, nutritious meals directly to children in rural communities via the United States Postal Service. The program serves families across 39 eligible school districts, addressing the significant food access challenges that exist in Alaska’s remote regions when school is not in session.
