CN Resource Awarded New Jersey CACFP Review Contract

CN Resource is excited to announce a new one-year contract with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture to conduct Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) reviews across the state.The contract award brings CN Resource back to New Jersey, where our team previously supported the state during the 2020–2021 program year. We’re excited to build on that experience and once again work alongside the state to support the important work of New Jersey’s CACFP program.Rich Crandall, Chairman of CN Resource, stated, “We’re excited to have the opportunity to work with New Jersey again and support the state’s CACFP review efforts. This award is a great example of what our team can accomplish when our expertise and experience come together.”Under the new contract, CN Resource will conduct 100 on-site reviews in September, followed by approximately 25 additional reviews before the end of December. The work will involve both on-site reviews and off-site support from our team.The contract also provides an opportunity to support New Jersey’s future review needs. The state is expected to issue a multi-year RFP later this year for additional CACFP reviews for the 2026–2027 program year. CN Resource looks forward to demonstrating the experience, collaboration, and commitment needed to support New Jersey’s CACFP program over the long term.We’re grateful to the CACFP team members who have stepped up to support this project, whether traveling throughout September or managing the essential off-site work. Their collective knowledge, flexibility, and collaborative approach are an important part of bringing this work to life.
